Outdoor soccer registration is now open

 

What / When: 

Community Association Outdoor Soccer taking place May 1 – June 26, 2025
Mini FOS June 6 – 8 (entry deadline May 12) at Saskatoon Sports Centre Fields
Timbit Jamboree June 22 (deadline 3 days in advance of event) at Saskatoon Sports Centre Fields.

 

Age Divisions

 

SFG Owls Co-ed 5 and under, born 2020
$125 per child
3 v 3, no goalie
Mondays, with possibility of Fridays

 

SFG Eagles Girls 7 and under, born 2018-19
SFG Ravens Boys 7 and under, born 2018-19
$125 per child
3 v 3, no goalie
Wednesdays (boys), Thursdays (girls), with possibility of Fridays

 

SFG Cardinals Girls 9 and under, born 2016-17
SFG Hawks Boys 9 and under, born 2016-17
$125 per child
5 v 5
Mondays (boys), Tuesdays (girls), with possibility of Fridays

 

Practices are held at a time and place at the discretion of the head coach.

 

One Community Membership ($10 per annum) is required per household and is eligible for reimbursement if existing membership can be evidenced.

If there are not enough players to field a team we will seek to accommodate by reaching out to neighboring community associations to place them with a team or provide a full refund.

 

Registration:

**IMPORTANT**

Please register your child through RAMP before remitting payment.  In the event that a refund is required we will be remitting payment back to the primary email registered on file through RAMP.  We are not able to readily identify the originating email that issued the e-transfer from the email confirmation.

Calling for Coaches

 

Without these people we cannot field a team. If you’re interested please contact our soccer coordinator, David Purdy. If a coach cannot be assigned by the registration deadline we will seek to place players on the next available association or cancel the registration with full refund. We are providing qualified coaches (up to two) that have a familial connection to the participant (up to one each) on the team with full reimbursement of their registration fees at the end of the season in addition to any reimbursable expenses required to fulfill the minimum requirements outlined below.

 

Volunteer Coach Requirements

 

As guided by Saskatoon Soccer Association and National Coaching Certification Program (“NCCP”) we
will require the following from our volunteer coaches:

 

Minimum Certification Requirements

This is so we can track all your certifications in one place.

3. Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector for Adult Volunteer Coaches.

  • Please select ‘volunteer coach’ and the requesting organization is Sutherland Forest
    Grove Community Association. (“SFGCA”). Please use the volunteer letter provided to
    be accompanied with your application. A new CRC will be required every two years.

Deadline for these requirements is May 1, 2025 before the first scheduled games. Please upload your
CRC letter and Respect in Sport certificate in RAMP.
